Insurer adds products to broking system
RSA has signed a deal with IT service provider Acturis to distribute a number of insurance products to brokers via their system.
The products include shop, office and small business combined.
Brokers will be able to transact business with RSA using their Acturis system and remove the need for re-keying data between broker and insurer.
David Greaves, director of deals and small businesses at RSA, said, "This new deal with Acturis demonstrates RSA's commitment to meeting the needs of brokers placing small business. This is one step in our journey to becoming the insurer of choice for this business area. It is all about helping make it easy for brokers to do business with RSA."
Ben Wilks, Acturis insurer development manager, said: "This system removes the need for a broker to re-key data onto an insurer's website or the imarket portal to get a quote. Brokers can use the client and risk data already captured within the Acturis system and integrate directly with the RSA products without the need to re-key data manually."
