Ex JLT employee, Mark Playle to work alongside Darren Marshall as joint principle of business
RK Harrison has created a new construction division and has appointed former Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) employee, Mark Playle, as principle.
The company said the new division will offer a comprehensive service to project owners or contractors engaged in all types of construction projects around the world, ranging from power and process plants to building and civil engineering projects.
As well as programmes tailored to specific projects, the team will also look to handle annual placements across the breadth of its contractor clients’ business.
Playle joined the company on 1 January and will focus on business in the UK and Europe. He will work alongside Darren Marshall as joint principle of the business.
Playle previously worked within JLT’s private finance initiative and public private partnerships business and was responsible for handling the annual accounts of European-domiciled contractors.
In March, RK Harrison poached an entire marine energy team from JLT Agnew Higgins, to specialise in offshore exploration and production.
