The life insurance acqusitionin vehicle, founded by insurance entrepreneur Clive Cowdery, said it will begin its capital return programme immediately with a £250m share buyback.
Resolution will then follow up with a further £250m capital return in the first half of 2012, provided it squeezes £235m out of its existing assets this year.
