Resolution Life Group (RLG), the company that today acquired the UK life business of Royal & SunAlliance, said it is seeking further acquisitions to grow the business.

RLG said it had been working with lead investors Fleming Family & Partners since August 2003 to develop the structure and financing plans for the firm.

RLG said it was seeking further acquisitions and intended to seek a public listing to fund further growth in the medium term.

The initial board of RLG is comprised of non-executive chairman Sir Brian Williamson, non-executive director Sir David Cooksey, non-executive director David Woods, chief executive officer Clive Cowdery, and chief operating officer Brendan Meehan.
