RBSI appoints pricing director

Rudi Van Delm will join Royal Bank of Scotland Insurance’s personal lines executive team as director of pricing, subject to FSA approval.

Van Delm will report to Tom Woolgrove managing director, personal lines, RBS Insurance.

Van Delm was most recently chief actuary, general insurance at Lloyds Banking Group, where besides being responsible for reserving, capital and reinsurance, he was also leading pricing and underwriting of all personal lines products.

Prior to joining Lloyds Banking Group, he was a director of the general insurance actuarial department at Ernst & Young in London.

Woolgrove said: “We want to continue the progress we have made on delivering the strategy of recovering profitability, building competitive advantage, particularly in pricing and claims, and driving profitable growth. We are continuing to build a strong team at all levels.”
