New branch wants to target farms, estates and rural businesses

R K Harrison Insurance Services (RKHIS) has opened a new office in Richmond, Yorkshire.

RKHIS is part of the R K Harrison Group, and is a retail broker specialising in commercial, rural and private client cover.

The broker wants to target the farms, estates and rural businesses in Yorkshire. The new office will be led by RKHIS account director Edmund Sword.

Sword said: “Basing expertise in Yorkshire, we’re better positioned to offer face-to-face advice, products and services that are suited to our clients’ needs.”

RKHIS director and head of the private wealth division Katie Small said: “It may be the old-fashioned way, but we have built a business in the UK based on the success of this approach and we will now be able to deliver this more effectively to our clients in the north of England and Scotland.”

The new office will join R K Harrison’s branches in offices in London, Bedford, Sevenoaks, Salisbury, Leeds, Glasgow and Birmingham.
