Loss adjuster appoints two to develop specialist services
Loss adjuster QuestGates is developing further specialist services and strengthening its southern operations with the appointment of two new senior managers. Mike Farley, who joins from Cunningham Lindsey, and Simon Jones, previously with Carmichaels, will be based in London.
Farley joins QuestGates on May 1 to develop a dedicated Property Investors Division for the company. Previously manager of Cunningham Lindsey Property Owners Unit, he has over 20 years' experience in loss adjusting and had been with Cunninghams for nine years, prior to which he was with GAB Robins.
Jones, who joins on April 14, will take responsibility for the development of QuestGates’ Lloyd’s and London market business. With nearly 15 years' experience, he was operations director for Carmichaels and prior to that worked for McLarens/Teceris.
In view of the new developments, and anticipating further growth in its service offering, QuestGates is moving its London office to larger premises in Fenchurch Avenue. This will also become the base for the company’s Client Services Director, Ross Macpherson and Liability Operations Director, Stuart Mclean.
QuestGates Managing Director, Chris Hall said: "Mike and Simon have both worked with senior QuestGates personnel before and we know that their expertise, drive and commitment is fully consistent with QuestGates’ culture and ambition. Their experience gives us firm foundations from which to develop our Lloyd’s and London market business. Our focus on developing and delivering solutions in specialist areas is perfectly suited to commercial property owners and Mike’s experience of managing such a team will enable us to expand our involvement in this area."
Mike Farley said: "The property investors market is a highly competitive one and the consistent delivery of high levels of service is vital. With my long experience of working with property investors and my knowledge of QuestGates’ innovation, depth of expertise and experience, together with its market leading IT solutions, I’m excited by the opportunity to develop and deliver a unique proposition to this niche market." Simon Jones added: "I am looking forward very much to working with Mike and the rest of the QuestGates team to develop our London presence. I’ve watched QuestGates grow significantly during its first five years as a limited company and my role, which will also include involvement in operational matters such as training and audit, is another step towards establishing the company as the leading specialist adjuster."
