PowerPlace set to make reductions following the exit of sales and marketing chief Darren Rowe
PowerPlace could cut back a quarter of its sales team following a review of the business, Insurance Times understands.
Around 10 job roles out of the 40-strong unit are under threat. However, most of those 10 staff are set to be offered other jobs being created in PowerPlace’s wider business.
PowerPlace, headed by chief executive Simon Ball (pictured above), declined to comment.
The review follows on from last month’s exit of sales and marketing director Darren Rowe.
Rowe is understood to have been placed on gardening leave.
He joined PowerPlace from parent company Towergate in August 2010 as sales director and was promoted to sales and marketing director in February 2011.
