PowerPlace hires five new business consultants and one broker development manager
PowerPlace has made six new appointments in its broker development team.
Waseem Hassan has joined as broker development manager. His responsibilities will include working with brokers to negotiate trading terms and has joined from MCM.
Paul Ralf and Alex Durham will be based in the South East. Ralf joins from GSI Commercial Service having spent over eight years in both broking and underwriting roles. Durham who also has eight years insurance experience, joins from Aon. Based in the West Midlands, Juliet Cox joins after over a decade within Towergate while Mathew Moore has been recruited to assist brokers in the North East.
All six will report to sales director Wayne Tonge.
Tonge said: “PowerPlace offers a new way of doing business to brokers. For the decision makers within a firm, it’s easy to see the benefits in terms of speed, efficiency, enhanced access to markets and products. But we recognise that for those at the coalface, using PowerPlace will mean embracing change, which isn’t always easy.
"Our development team’s role is to work in a hands on way with a broker’s whole team to help them increase the efficiencies and profitability in their business. It doesn’t take long for them to realise that it makes their lives a whole lot easier as well!”
