PlusOne has been appointed by Bath Building Society (BBS) to replace its current insurance supplier Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA).
PlusOne will provide BBS's white labelling and general insurance services, enabling the company to have a range of own-branded insurance products, available with immediate effect.
PlusOne chief executive Simon Hood said: "This is great news, as the Bath is the first building society to adopt the PlusOne offer since our launch at the end of 2003.
"We believe that many other similar organisations will follow this lead and benefit from having their own brand supported by our first class range of policies underwritten by Norwich Union, which insures one in five of households across the UK.
"Add to that our ability to take full responsibility for the sales, administration and FSA compliance, which enables Bath to concentrate on their core business, and its obvious why this is a winning partnership.
"With all the changes in the mortgage and insurance market, it may be some time before some organisations have a clear view of what really is the best way to offer general insurance to their clients. We believe that our ability to tailor our proposition makes it very compelling and will be there to support almost any approach they choose to adopt.”
