Damian Keeling, the former managing director of Carole Nash Insurance Consultants, has acquired the total shareholding of underwriting agency Peart Associates.
Peart Associates specialises in non-standard vehicles such as sports, performance and high valued executive vehicles. It was founded in 1984 by Peter Brooks and Val Draycott
Val Draycott has now retired from the insurance industry. Peter Brooks will act as an independent marketing consultant to the broker.
Keeling said: "I am very pleased to be acquiring a specialist brokerage that has stood the test of time in an Industry which has seen countless changes over the past decade. It is my intention to invest heavily in new systems, training and marketing techniques, in order to ensure that the business continues to flourish in those areas of the market where it is already well established.
"The staff at Peart are very keen to involve themselves in the expansion of the business and my job is made much easier by the fact that their level of expertise is second to none."
Damian has promoted Katrina Blayden-Byrne to the position of general manager.
