Patterson heads to Garwyn

Garwyn has poached Nick Patterson from GAB Robins to fill the newly created position of commercial director.

The appointment boosts the growth plans of the specialist liability adjuster, which recently acquired ORS, a health and safety consultancy.

Patterson has more than 20 years’ experience in insurance. He was UK casualty director at GAB and has worked at Cunningham Hart.

He will head Garwyn’s sales and development team, working alongside Declan Treanor, chief executive.

Treanor said: “We have a clear strategy to develop the range of services we offer to insurers and corporates in this challenging economic climate and Nick’s experience is absolutely right to support that plan.”

Patterson starts his new job next Monday.
