Law firms to consolidate into four brands
Leeds law firm Praxis Partners has merged with Parabis Law, pushing Parabis into the top 50 law firms.
Following this merger, the group will consolidate into four main brands representing: defendant legal services; claimant legal services; professional services; and claims handling businesses.
A new management structure has been initiated with a board of directors comprising Tim Oliver, Tim Roberts, Nick Addyman and Andrew McDougal. Tim Oliver becomes group chief executive.
Oliver commented: “Each brand under the Parabis umbrella has a strong structural integrity and identity within the market.
"The aim of the brand consolidation is to build on these strengths and achieve enhanced market recognition while protecting existing customer relationships.
"The future could not be brighter for the Parabis Group and I look forward to the future opportunities that can be realised as a result of this strategy”.
McDougal added: “We have enjoyed a great working relationship with the Parabis Group for many years.
"I speak for everyone at Praxis Partners when I say how delighted I am that we have formalised our relationship and relish the opportunities that working for a multi-disciplinary group brings in terms of providing our clients with a greater range of services and expertise to meet their needs going forward”.
The agreement was effective from 20 July.
