Eric Rawlins & Co joins Broker Direct-owned network
Broker network, OurNetwork, which was launched by broker-owned insurance management company Broker Direct in August, has announced its 100th member, Stoke-based insurance broker Eric Rawlins & Co.
Phil Alcock managing director of Eric Rawlins said: “We’ve always been fiercely independent which is why no other network has been able to attract us. However, the proposition from OurNetwork supports our independence and allows us the freedom to manage our business as we see fit."
Paul Brierley, OurNetwork’s managing director, said: “I’d like to welcome all at Eric Rawlins & Co to OurNetwork. We are obviously thrilled with the early success of OurNetwork. The positive response we have had from all corners of the industry has been phenomenal. As soon as the first broker signed up – 60 minutes after our launch – we knew we had something special.”
OurNetwork said it had "unprecedented" insurer response. It panel includes AIG UK, Arista Insurance, DAS, Brit, Groupama, Markel, MMA Insurance, RSA, W. R. Berkley Insurance (Europe) and Zurich Insurance.
Brokers joining OurNetwork gain increased levels of commission across a wide spectrum of products from partner insurers. In addition, those brokers holding a Broker Direct agency have access to an expanding suite of online comparative commercial products. In addition, value adding services are offered, such as compliance support, training, lead generation, HR consultancy and web development.
Brierley added: “As our insurer panel and membership grows, we are able to continuously improve our proposition. Feedback continues to be excellent, but we will not rest on our laurels and will strive to make OurNetwork the best network for the independently minded broker.”
