Heath Lambert's new portfolio of full cycle EDI Homeline products has gone live on Open GI's HomeWriter quote engine.
Victor Wild, divisional director at Heath Lambert, said: “Developing full cycle EDI with Open GI will enable us to more readily exploit market opportunities and extend broker distribution. Open GI brokers represent a large proportion of the market and we are committed to electronic trading.
“At Heath Lambert we offer competitive rates, underwriting flexibility and a referral service, giving brokers the opportunity to increase their competitive advantage. We are also able to accommodate many non standard and small and medium commercial risks that may not be available via the system.”
The products incorporate a range of risks and are suitable for high net worth clients.
Michele Munn, head of insurance services at Open GI, said: "We are pleased to be the first in the market to add Heath Lambert products to our HomeWriter quote engine - it adds yet more choice for Open GI brokers, particularly in niche areas. Over the last 12 months we have seen a significant increase in the number of insurers developing full cycle EDI household products and we expect the trend to continue.”
