Brokers will have access to additional Norwich Union products when it launches a pilot using electronic trading portal Imarket.
The insurer teamed up with software house Sirius to trial three of its package products - shop, office and tradesman - with the software house using the Imarket infrastructure.
It hopes to roll the products out by the end of June.
Phillip Nunn, head of e-strategy at Norwich Union, told Insurance Times the insurer would launch additional commercial e-trading products via other software houses "in the not too distant future".
This is the second pilot Norwich Union has launched using the electronic trading portal. Last year the company introduced its shop product via software house Acturis.
There had been speculation that Norwich Union was reconsidering its future with Imarket after holding a "high-level" meeting.
But Nunn, who also sits on the board of directors at Imarket founder Polaris, denied any such talks had taken place.
He said: "By way of commitment to Imarket we are offering a 10% premium discount on our e-trading products and a best price promise on that."
