Over a third of membership target met
Norwich Union (NU) has said that 110 brokers have already agreed to join Norwich Union’s exclusive club - called ‘110’ - which is by invitation only for brokers with an account with the insurer of between £800,000 and £5m.
Launched in November last year, the insurer is aiming for a total of 300. Benefits for members include exclusive access to a wide range of services such as new schemes, an extranet offering marketing and HR and complicance advice.
Members are also granted access to senior NU management and a suite of hospitality events.
NU corporate sales director, Janice Deakin, said: “The feedback from brokers has been tremendous and the numbers keen to sign up really have surpassed our expectations.
“110 has been designed to offer extra support, rewards and benefits to mid range brokers with whom we can grow profitably. The success of 110 proves that the desire for independence in the broking channel is very much alive and well.”
