Luton Magistrates give 25 points for four offences but no ban

Luton Today is calling for locals to identify a 23-year-old man with a LU4 postcode who escaped a driving ban despite having 25 points for four driving with no insurance offences.

He was given six points for his first offence in August 2007, followed by a further six points for the same offence in both December of the same year and July 2008. The paper reports.

In June 2008 magistrates imposed a seven point penalty, also for the same offence.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
