Insurer joins the commercial lines panel to increase growth in SME market
NIG has become the fifth insurer to join the commercial lines panel as part of the Keychoice commercial initiative.
The initiative was created to deliver a wider range of commercial lines products to its 750 members and drive real growth in the SME market.
NIG’s presence on the panel will increase the range of products available to Keychoice members, particularly across property-led business and the medium segment of the SME market. NIG’s product range includes office, tradesman, traders combined, retail, property owners and hotel.
Adrian Coupland, head of insurer relationships at SSP, said: “This is great news for our existing members. Adding another leading insurer to our panel further strengthens our proposition, providing members with access to an even wider range of competitive products and improved service.
"With commercial lines increasingly being traded electronically, we will continue to develop and increase the number of products that can be traded in this way.”
Jim Ramsay, account executive, at NIG said: “We are delighted to build on our existing relationship with Keychoice by joining this new initiative. With the continued growth in electronically-traded business, Keychoice is well positioned to deliver strong support and new opportunities to its existing members and new recruits.
Having worked in partnership with Keychoice for over three years we believe the commercial initiative will be a great success.”
A number of other insurers already committed to the broker channel are in advanced discussions to join the strategic panel for commercial lines.
