‘Demand for climate resilience services has grown exponentially in recent years’, says global head
Zurich Resilience Solutions, the commercial risk advisory arm of insurer Zurich, has today (25 January 2023) partnered with climate solutions provider South Pole to provide new advisory solutions to clients.
The joint offering will provide businesses with solutions to help them define, plan and execute short and long-term climate resilience objectives and net zero goals.
Focusing on measuring physical climate risk and emissions, the solution will provide guidance to clients on how to reduce both.
Hanno Mijer, global head of Zurich Resilience Solutions, said: “Defining a deploying effective climate adaptation and mitigation strategies requires special knowhow and can be extremely complex and time-consuming, even more so for multinationals.
“Demand for climate resilience services has grown exponentially in recent years – collaborating with South Pole will allow us to address climate-related risks holistically by supporting customers on their net zero journey as well as resilience.”
Reputational cost
