’She brings a wealth of sales and market experience to the role,’ says statement
Zurich has revealed that Jacqui Kelly will take up the role of head of sales and distribution for retail on an interim basis when Michelle Taylor completes her move to Aviva, a statement released today (10 July 2023) said.
Aviva said in a statement last week (7 July 2023) that Taylor would be joining the insurer as the strategic accounts director for its distribution business in January 2024.
Successor Kelly joined Zurich in 2005, starting out as a sales and service consultant before moving up the ladder to her current role of head of strategic accounts.
Zurich said in a statement said: “Jacqui Kelly, who is currently head of strategic accounts, will take on the role of head of sales and distribution for retail on an interim basis.
“Jacqui began her career with Zurich in 2005 and brings a wealth of sales and market experience to the role.”
’Huge contribution’
Taylor is moving to Aviva as part of a reshuffle to the insurer’s commercial lines and distribution businesses.

She joined Zurich from RSA in 2018, taking up the role of head of regional markets for the south east.
She held several positions at the firm over the last few years before taking up her most recent role of UK head of retail sales and distribution in June 2021.
“After nearly five years at Zurich, Michelle Taylor, our head of sales and distribution, has decided to pursue a career opportunity outside our business,” the Zurich said.
“We would like to thank Michelle for her huge contribution to Zurich and wish her every success in the future.”
