’We’re taking a significant step towards transforming the insurance claims process,’ says chief executive
Verisk has teamed up with property technology firm Planitar in a bid to bolster the insurance industry’s claims processing capabilities.
In a statement yesterday (28 August 2023), Verisk said the partnership would allow the two firms to help insurance adjusters process claims with “accuracy, speed and increased efficiency”.
This will be done by integrating Planitar’s iGuide Instant Sketch product with Verisk’s own software platform.
The iGuide solution was designed to improve the accuracy and speed of creating a property loss documentation package.
“We are excited to announce our collaboration with Verisk to introduce iGuide to the insurance industry,” Alexander Likholyot, chief executive of Planitar, said.
“Together, we’re taking a significant step towards transforming the insurance claims process.”
‘Real difference’
The iGuide solutions uses optical imaging and laser measurements as well as AI technology.

“Together, we’re working to simplify the claims sketch process, improve the quality of loss documentation and enhance adjusters’ productivity,” he added.
“We are proud to be at the forefront of this transformation and of our commitment to an open ecosystem designed to drive efficiency and deliver solutions that make a real difference for our customers.”
