The new hire was the former chief executive at the Association of Lloyd’s Members
Tysers Insurance Brokers has appointed former chief executive of the Association of Lloyd’s Members (ALM) Belinda Schofield as its new independent non-executive director; Schofield will join the firm’s UK board from 1 July, subject to regulatory approval.
Schofield, who has more than 30 years of leadership experience, is also the chair of the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Disciplinary Decision Review Panel and is an external member of the Lloyd’s Enforcement Panel.
Prior to these roles, Schofield worked at an international broker as a non-executive director and member of its risk and audit committee. She has also worked as an insurance lawyer and partner at city firm CMS, as well as held positions on its board and remuneration committee.
Upon joining Tysers, Schofield will be an IIBL board member, chair of the risk and compliance committee, as well as a member on the audit and treasury committee and the remuneration committee.
