Allianz Partners has been appointed as the travel insurance provider for Tui’s UK business.
Through the partnership, Tui customers will be offered a choice of single trip or annual travel insurance.
The holiday provider will also market Allianz Partners’ travel insurance online under its own brand, making it available to travellers who haven’t booked through Tui.
The deal comes after Tui’s previous partnership with Axa came to an end in April.
Andrew Tolman, head of travel insurance for Allianz Partners UK and Ireland, said: “Allianz Partners is already the leading travel insurer in the UK and this new partnership with Tui will strengthen that position.
”Our partners trust us because of our proven ability to operate at scale and give peace of mind to their customers.”

As part of the deal, Tui customers can add travel insurance during the booking process.

Simpler claims can be made through Allianz Partners’ online portal, where they are processed automatically and paid immediately by Allianz’s AI bots.
For more complex claims, meanwhile, Allianz’s customer service team and specialist medical assistance team can provide support.
”As a specialist travel insurer, our sole focus is to make the end-to-end journey as easy as possible for customers, from slick online journeys to straightforward claims processing capabilities,” Tolman added.
