’These brands excel at anticipating and addressing their customers’ needs, earning their place as standout leaders in the industry,’ says chief executive
Consumer Intelligence has revealed the top performing insurers operating in the home and motor markets.
The market research company evaluated providers across five categories, including customer trust, customer service, claims satisfaction, overall customer satisfaction and customer recommendation.
It has now named 10 winners in each of these categories.
Among firms to be recognised for their work in the motor market include The AA, Aviva, Direct Line, LV=, NFU Mutal, Tesco, Halifax and Saga.
Meanwhile, Aviva, Direct Line, Nationwide, Bank of Scotland and Prudential were among providers to be recognised for their work in the home market.
Ian Hughes, chief executive at Consumer Intelligence, said: “We are delighted to reveal this year’s winners.
“These brands excel at anticipating and addressing their customers’ needs, earning their place as standout leaders in the industry.
“Their unwavering dedication, expertise and dependable service reflect exactly what customers seek in an insurance provider.”
Customer feedback
The awards are based on insights from Consumer Intelligence’s Insurance Behaviour Tracker (IBT), which collects data during a calendar year and surveys approximately 50,000 customers.

The firm explained: “Real customer feedback is invaluable when shopping for insurance. Our research shows that consumers are over five times more likely to choose a brand recognised by awards based on real customer opinions rather than those judged by industry bodies.
“That’s where the Consumer Intelligence Awards excel, in setting the standard for excellence through the voices of genuine customers.
“These awards highlight the companies that truly understand what it means to meet and exceed customer expectations.”
