Three weeks to go until 2022’s Tech and Innovation Awards

The countdown is on – there are just three weeks remaining until Insurance Times’ annual Tech and Innovation Awards returns to London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel on 22 September 2022. Do you have your ticket?

The Tech and Innovation Awards aims to recognise and celebrate industry best practice around technology developments and innovations within the last year, acknowledging effective, tech-driven propositions that support the entire insurance lifecycle – from underpinning underwriting, claims and back office processes to mitigating fraud and enhancing end customers’ experiences.

Although 2022 marks the second year that this prestigious award event has graced the Royal Lancaster Hotel, Insurance Times has injected some newness into this year’s proceedings with the addition of a brand new host – writer, presenter and comedian Timandra Harkness.

Harkness is the perfect candidate for revealing the event’s tech-savvy winners.

She is a fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, has published a book on big data – entitled Big data: Does size matter? – written for BBC Science Focus and has performed neuroscience-based comedy at Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Following a decadent three-course dinner, Harkness will be welcoming winners to the stage for 22 different awards. This includes the extremely coveted Technology Champion of the Year accolade – one of the event’s nominated awards.

Other awards up for grabs include Data Analytics Excellence Award, Fraud Technology Solution of the Year, Insurance Startup Award, Best Use of AI, Best Use of Technology for Customer Experience and Technology Partner of the Year, to name a few.

After the awards presentation, guests will be able to network with colleagues, peers and industry thought leaders for the remainder of the evening, enjoying the celebratory ambience and drinking in the winners’ successes.
