Insurance Times rounds up the biggest appointments and promotions from 21 to 25 October 2024
Starting off the week, MGA Folgate Underwriting said it had appointed Craig Miller as its new liability chief underwriting officer.
In his new role, Miller will take charge of the liability portfolio and be responsible for overseeing the development and growth of new and existing product strategies.
Then, Aon appointed Adam Neverton as its new global head of strategic broking for professions.
In his new role, Neverton will be responsible for delivering risk management propositions that are tailored to the demands of clients.
Following this, Premium Credit hired Rohit Ghai as its chief risk officer in a newly created role.
Ghai will lead the premium finance firm’s risk, compliance and legal functions.
And then, the Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) announced that Sean McGovern will become chair-elect for 2025 under a new appointment process.
McGovern is Axa XL’s chief executive for the UK and Lloyd’s. He will also remain in position as chair for the London Market Group (LMG) during 2025, having been appointed on 8 November 2022.
Rounding off the week, speciality insurer Fortegra appointed Richard Mangion as its new chief financial officer for the UK and Europe.
Based in London, Mangion will be responsible for leading finance operations and contributing to the overall strategy across the UK and European region.
His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
