Insurance Times rounds up the biggest appointments and promotions from 23 to 27 September 2024

Starting off the week, Australian insurance broker Aub Group announced that Bob Pybus and Tom Wilson will be taking up new chief executive roles.

Pybus will become top boss for UK retail, while Wilson has been named as the new leader at Tysers, Aub Group’s Lloyd’s wholesale broker.

Then, Axa XL expanded its UK cyber team with a range of appointments across its underwriting and claims operations.

Following this, broker WTW appointed Parveen Kaur as its new global leader of operations, strategy execution and data.

In the newly created role, Kaur will focus on strengthening WTW’s position in the commercial lines market through growing Neuron, the firm’s commercial digital trading proposition.

Then, Ardonagh-owned reinsurance broker Price Forbes Re expanded its facultative team with the appointment of Oliver Waterhouse.

Waterhouse will take up the role of head of property facultative and be based in the London office.

Rounding off the week, Allianz announced two senior broking appointments within its personal lines broker business.

The latest hires include Victoria Price, who will take on the role of broker propositions director, as well as Anna Cole, the division’s new broker marketing and customer director.
