Insurance Times rounds up the biggest appointments from this week
Flood Re’s top boss stepping down and Arch Insurance International appointing a new chief operating officer were among the biggest people moves this week.

Ketan Motwani
At the start of the week, Arch Insurance International announced that it had appointed Ketan Motwani as its new UK chief operating officer.
The position will see Motwani take responsibility for overseeing UK functions, including underwriting operations and strategic portfolio management.

Stephanie Ogden
Then, insurer HDI Global named Stephanie Ogden as its new chief executive for the UK and Ireland.
Ogden will succeed Richard Taylor, who has decided to retire at the end of the year.
The appointee joined HDI in 2019 and has been managing director of the UK and Ireland arm since 2022.

Andy Bord
This week also saw Flood Re announce that Andy Bord will step down as chief executive at its annual general meeting (AGM) in July.
The Flood Re board has appointed chief financial officer Stuart Logue as interim chief executive as they look to identify a permanent successor.
