Insurance Times rounds up the biggest M&A deals from this week
Brown and Brown acquiring a family-owned broker and an Australian broking group moving into the UK were among the biggest M&A deals this week.

Brown and Brown
Starting off the week, Brown and Brown announced it had acquired T Oscar Rollins and Company as it looks to expand its presence in Northern Ireland.
The acquired firm, which trades as Rollins Insurance Brokers, was established in 1945 and operates as a family-owned business.

Aub
Then, Australian insurance broking group Aub announced it had signed a deal to acquire a 40% equity stake in UK-based Momentum Broking Solutions.
Momentum is an authorised representative network with over 100 partners that place over £90m in premium in the market.

JMG Group
Following this, JMG Group announced two acquisitions to expand its geographic footprint and specialist capabilities.
The broker said it have moved to buy Executive Insurance Services and Gleaming Insurance, with both deals having been complete.

Clear Group
And then, Clear Group acquired the book and assets of Rycroft Associates LLP and its appointed representative (AR) Inspire Credit Management.
Based in Lichfield, Rycroft is a broker that supports UK and European businesses in obtaining trade credit insurance products.

Jensten Group
Meanwhile, Jensten Group continued its acquisition spree with the purchase of Chris Knott Insurance Consultants.
Broker Chris Knott caters to both personal and commercial clients and runs several schemes, including one that focuses on classic cars and owners club vehicles.

AM
And rounding off the week, US managing general agent (MGA) Pinpoint Insurance Solutions said it had expanded into the UK after being acquired by Texas-based AM Specialty Insurance Group.
AM said it had acquired Pinpoint as it looks to expand its product offering and enhance service capabilities.
As part of its expansion plans, AM has also helped the MGA establish Pinpoint UK, which is based in London.
