Group chief executive says the acquisition will ’help SME entrepreneurs solve some of the problems they face’
Insurtech Stubben Edge Group has bought the business solutions and governance (BSG) division of B2B media company Bonhill Group.
The BSG division includes several brands, such as SmallBusiness.co.uk, GrowthBusiness.co.uk, Information-Age.com and DiversityQ.
Stubben Edge believes these brands will further its growth and capabilities for customers, brokers, and independent financial advisors (IFAs).
Chris Kenning, Stubben Edge Group’s chief executive, said: “Customer tastes are changing quicker than the financial services industry is.
“Bringing together the BSG capabilities to offer insight, analytics and high quality content with Stubben Edge Group’s broker and IFA network creates a unique proposition to help SME entrepreneurs solve some of the problems they face.”
New home
The websites within the BSG division are targeted at supporting entrepreneurial companies with views into major global trends, such as technology, diversity, the state of business and the modern workplace.
Patrick Ponsford, Bonhill Group’s chief executive, added: “I’m delighted that our business solutions division and all its staff have found a new home at Stubben Edge.
“We wish them every success for the future and look forward to an ongoing relationship with Stubben Edge helping to promote [its] market-leading solutions to our core advisor audiences.”
