Non-exec steps up to take major role as boss
Personal lines broker Somerset Bridge has confirmed Damian Arnold as its next chief executive as the business gears up for growth.
Arnold was previously a non-executive director, but he has now stepped up to run the firm following its sale to Arch Re.
Arnold said: ”My breadth of experience will allow me to introduce a new layer of specialism into Somerset Bridge.
”Through the introduction of advanced software, the streamlining of processes and frictionless business models, we will build on our excellent foundations to deliver sustainable growth, both in the immediate future and in the long term. I’m very much looking forward to the new challenge.”
Somerset Bridge’s chairman Martyn Holman added that Arnold brings ”knowledge of digitalisation and distribution that can really help to drive the business forward”.
