It follows Simply Business appointing David Summers as group chief executive
Simply Business has partnered with comparison site – Love Energy Saving in a bid to give its customers access to business insurance products.
The partnership is called “Love Insurance Savings”.
It claims to enable a seamless customer experience, helping small business owners and the self-employed to deal with their energy and insurance needs fast.
And includes everything from public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance as well as more specific needs such as tool insurance and business interruption insurance.
The partnership follows David Summers taking helm as group chief executive in October last year.
Alan Thomas, chief commercial officer at Simply Business said: “”This new relationship will make both aspects easier for small business owners, so they can get on with what they do best.
“We know that finding the right insurance – like finding the right energy supplier – can be a painstaking process.”
Love Energy Savings’ chief executive Phil Foster said the firm aims to take the hassle out of comparing insurance providers while helping businesses find the right cover and inevitably save time.
“For us, it’s about finding another way to makes lives easier for our customers. We know from speaking with business owners that time is precious, often the most precious thing they can offer.
“And when you’re running a busy firm, it might be tempting to settle for the first insurance deal that comes your way. It’s an appealing prospect,” he said.
Simply Business provides insurance to over 475,000 SMEs in the UK.
