’We’re at the point in the transformation of RSA where we’re ready to press the accelerator on our data strategy,’ says chief information officer

RSA has appointed Indhira Mani as its new chief data officer as the firm looks to bolster its data strategy.

In her new role, the insurer said that Mani will play a role in “leveraging data as a differentiator across the business”.

She will report to Ollie Holden, who is the chief information officer at RSA.

“We’re at the point in the transformation of RSA where we’re ready to press the accelerator on our data strategy,” Holden said.

“So, I’m excited to welcome Indhira to the team to help lead the charge.”

Experience

Mani joins RSA from Danske Bank, where she was group head of data transformation.

Prior to this, she worked at several financial services businesses, including Deutsche Bank, BNP Paribas, RBS and Barclays.

Mani is also a governing body member of the Gartner Evanta CDAO network, which connects c-suite executives from global organisations.

In her new role at RSA, Mani aims to use her experience to help the firm “build good data practices”.

“Ensuring we build good data practices and robust data foundation empowers our partners and brokers to excel in critical areas,” she said.

“By leveraging accurate, comprehensive and well organised data, we can enhance risk assessment and underwriting processes.

“I’m excited to embark on this journey with RSA and look forward to collaborating with the talented team and lead initiatives that will shape the future of data driven solutions in insurance.”
