The deals aim to bolster the firm’s ‘ambitious growth plans’ as the loss adjuster looks to ‘shake up the status quo’
Loss adjuster QuestGates has bought the remainder of Dublin-based Rossiter Claims Management Services after it initially bought the business’s equity interest back in 2019.
Following the acquisition, Rossiter Claims Management Services’ staff will join QuestGates’ Ireland division. Meanwhile, founder and owner Paul Rossiter will take up the newly created role of divisional director, with overall responsibility for liability services in Ireland.
QuestGates has also purchased liability specialist Keating Claims Adjusters.
Owner Colm Keating will assume the newly created role of technical director upon joining QuestGates.
QuestGates’ director of Ireland and specialist services Glen Donaldson said: “There is a vibrant market in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland and a huge pool of home-grown talent to support our ambitious growth plans.
“In fact, we’re recruiting three new property and environmental adjusters in Dublin, in addition to welcoming the teams from Rossiter and Keating into the QuestGates family.
“There is tremendous opportunity for a service-focused business like ours and we’re looking forward to continuing to shake up the status-quo.”
With a team of nearly 25 claims and adjusting specialists, these latest acquisitions mean that QuestGates is now the largest independent provider of loss adjusting services across both jurisdictions of Ireland.
Commenting on the completed sale of Rossiter Claims Management Services, Rossiter said: “We are delighted to be joining QuestGates.
“Having worked with the team for the last two years, we are excited to have the opportunity to consolidate our expertise for the benefit of our clients.”
Keating added: “Increasingly, we have been asked to provide an all-island service and are delighted to be linking up with QuestGates Ireland.
”This will enable us to provide that all-encompassing service and enjoy the benefit of a larger team of liability adjusters in servicing our clients’ needs.”
