The acquired team brings a ‘wealth of experience from the more challenging end of the motor claims sector’, says managing director
Loss adjusting group QuestGates has made its first acquisition of 2024 with the purchase of Claims Management and Adjusting (CMA), a statement released yesterday (17 January 2023) said.
Kent-based CMA, which was established in 1994, specialises in the management and resolution of vehicle-related insurance claims.
This includes investigating high-value road traffic collision-related fraud.
The whole CMA team, including managing director Phillip Swift, will join QuestGates as part of the deal.
And QuestGates managing director Chris Hall said the acquisition will “further enhance the depth and range of services that we can provide”.
“They bring a wealth of experience from the more challenging end of the motor claims sector and the addition of their expertise fits perfectly with our strategy and further boosts our existing specialist motor claims offering,” he added.
‘The right time’
The acquisition builds on QuestGates purchasing motor-focused adjuster C&S Associates in June 2022, All UK in August 2021 and TSS Loss Adjusting in August 2015.

“We’re delighted to be joining forces with QuestGates at such an exciting time,” said Swift.
“After almost 30 years it is the right time to be part of a larger independent group, providing the team with great opportunities and allowing us to offer a broader range of services to clients whilst continuing to provide the same quality service.”
