Network members can now access the MGA’s insurance offering in both commercial and personal lines
Insurtech Qlaims has become a panel partner for PIB-owned Cobra Network.
A statement announcing the move today (4 May 2023) said brokers part of the network can now access Qlaims’ insurance for both their commercial and homeowner clients, as well as bespoke rates for schemes and portfolios.
Qlaims chief executive Liz Latter said the MGA’s latest proposition “enables brokers to offer an enhanced claims service to their clients”.
“We’re delighted to be working with the network”, she said.

Matt Duffy, sales director of Cobra Network member Protect Commercial, said he was “pleased that Qlaims has joined Cobra”.
Protect Commercial is also an exisiting Qlaims broker, with a partnership having been announced in 2020.
“As an insurance broker who doesn’t deal with claims in-house and at a time when we were suffering from poor claims service from insurers, we knew we had to do something,” Duffy said.
“As a modern, forward-thinking and innovative broker, we wanted to partner with a company who had a similar culture, which put the customer first and innovated to improve customer service.
“Our experience of working with Qlaims has been excellent and the feedback on their modern technology led solution has been first rate.”
