’The whole team share his passion to improve the customer claims experience,’ says chief executive
Qlaims Limited has announced today (23 January 2023) the retirement of its founder Malcolm Harvey.
Harvey established the managing general agent (MGA) in 2017 and after looking at ways to improve the customer journey for insurance claimants with the new technologies now available.
In a LinkedIn post, Harvey said that Qlaims had been the ”pinnacle of my working life” and felt ”privileged to have been able to work with the current team”.
Simon Cooter, chairman of Qlaims, added: “Having joined Qlaims Limited as chair in the summer of 2020, I have seen at first hand the energy that Malcolm has brought to the business.
“I wish Malcolm a long, happy and very well-earned retirement.”

Harvey worked as the firm’s chief executive until 2021, with him handing over the reins to Liz Latter that year.

“I would like to thank Malcolm for his support and guidance,” Latter said.
“The whole team share his passion to improve the customer claims experience and we will miss his challenge, inspiration and of course the banter.
“We all wish him well and enjoyment for his retirement.”
Cooter added: ”Having identified Liz Latter as his successor and worked closely with Liz to create a fantastic team, he leaves the business in great hands.”
