’Our expanded team will help us to operate as a single, unified business as we continue to grow our proposition and market share,’ says executive chair
Personal lines insurtech Policy Expert has expanded its senior leadership team with seven new roles to help accelerate its growth plans.
A statement released today (11 January 2024) confirmed that Linda Crichton, Alex Bearpark, Antony Green, Christine Minetou, Audrey McDade and Millie Nash would all join in c-suite roles, while Gary Barker would take on the position of managing director for Trinity Claims - a claims management company which represents Policy Expert.
The new recruits will join existing executive team members, including executive chair Steve Hardy, chief operating officer Adam Powell, chief financial officer Kevin Chidwick and chief underwriting officer David Prior.
The expansion follows a period of growth, with new policy sales growing by 66% and renewals by 97% over the last three years, underpinning a 110% rise in gross written premiums (GWP).
It has also increased its customer base to more than 1.4m policyholders and now employs more than 850 staff.
Hardy said: “This exciting change will ensure our key business strategies are shaped by input and support from across every aspect of Policy Expert.
”Our expanded team will help us to operate as a single, unified business as we continue to grow our proposition and market share.”

Policy Expert said that Crichton would become the firm’s new chief customer officer, with her overseeing the day-to-day operations of the insurtech’s contact centres in Motherwell and Milton Keynes.
