’We look forward to bringing new expertise and experience to UK pet owners at the click of a button,’ says managing director
Pet broking group Tedaisy has acquired dog health and activity app Perro.
Launched in 2023, Perro has retail partnerships with Airbnb, John Lewis and Sainsbury’s, alongside a customer base of over 10,000 UK dog owners.
Tedaisy said acquiring the pet-tech company would bring new technology and expertise that would allow the broker to expand its product and service offering.
Natalie Surtees, managing director and co-founder of Tedaisy’s Perfect Pet brand, said: “We are delighted to welcome the talented Perro team to the Tedaisy, Perfect Pet Insurance and Now Pet Insurance family.
“Perro’s intuitive approach to technology and training fused with Tedaisy’s pet insurance and veterinary assistance offering is the first leap of the group’s move towards creating a new and differentiated approach to healthier, happier pets.
“Together, we look forward to bringing new expertise and experience to UK pet owners at the click of a button.”
Josh Anderson, co-founder at Perro, added: “We’re joining Tedaisy at a very exciting time.
”Having experienced incredible success and impact in the pet insurance industry to date, we’re confident that with Perro’s technology, digital platform and our team’s product and tech expertise, we can play a key role in helping Tedaisy achieve its ambitious growth trajectory and commercial goals as a leading UK insurtech.”
