The partnership will ’further strengthen our proposition to the market and ensure that our clients can gain competitive advantage’, says managing director
Insurance data intelligence provider Percayso Inform has teamed up with TransUnion to expand insurance firms’ access to customer insights.
The deal will see Percayso distribute TransUnion’s TrueVision credit data to insurers, managing general agents (MGAs) and brokers through Percayso’s application programming interface (API).
Percayso hopes this will give firms a broader view of consumers and their behaviour.
And managing director Rich Tomlinson said the partnership will ”further strengthen our proposition to the market and ensure that our clients can gain competitive advantage from predictive insights based on enriched credit data”.
“Our proposition is centred on helping insurance providers harness the value of the wealth of data available to them, so that they can make better informed decisions on risk and pricing and ultimately write better business,” he said.
Russell Dixon, director of insurance at TransUnion in the UK, added: “It’s vital that insurance businesses have access to better consumer insights to optimise their decision making process.
”This partnership will allow us to collaborate on industry level challenges and opportunities with our combined data, analytics and decisioning capability. This is a major step forward in our data distribution strategy and a valuable testament to our commitment to using information for good.”
