Partners& says both moves are part of its wider strategy
Partners& has acquired Monaco Insurance Services and Church Side Insurance Services to bolster its presence in the Midlands.
The deal will see Edgbaston-based Monaco Insurance Services rebrand as Partners& in June 2024, while Church Side Insurance Services made the switch in February.
Partners& said both moves were part of its wider strategy to grow its hubs in the Midlands.
For example, Phil Barton, chief executive of Partners&, told Insurance Times that acquiring Monaco Insurance Services would help bolster its Nottingham, Shrewsbury and Birmingham bases.
Monaco Insurance Services was founded in 2010 by Kay Gill and Amrik Chote – its team will report to Neil O’Sullivan, managing partner for the Midlands region at Partners&.
“The team at Monaco have a great reputation in the manufacturing space and their relationships in the Birmingham market are second to none,” Barton said.
Church Side
Meanwhile, Church Side Insurance Services, based in Mansfield, was founded in 2013 by Dean Parrish and Damian Booker.

Specialising in providing SME and mid-corporate clients with advice to protect their businesses, they complement the Partners& Nottingham team.
Barton told Insurance Times: “Church Side will form part of our Nottingham team and Dean’s professionalism and leadership skills will help us to grow that hub.
“As we look to bolster our presence in the region, and in Nottingham in particular, the team represents a great asset for our growing our East Midlands hub.
These two acquisitions followed a series of deals made by Partners&, such as acquiring Hall Insurance Services and Beaumont Lawrence and Co in October 2023, as well as MacDonald Group in April that year.
