’This further strengthens our proposition with an additional range of specialist products,’ says executive director

Recently launched Addept Insurance Services and All Broker Services (ABS) have announced a new product distribution partnership that will allow more than 400 brokers to expand their ancillary coverage.

Addept Insurance, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Addept Group, has a portfolio of ancillary products and services.

It teamed up with ABS after the business acquired Sparta Insurance Services’ book of business – Addept Insurance’s products will be offered to the combined broker client base of 450 UK firms.

The move has been made to help brokers and other intermediaries address the changing protection needs of their customers.

Andrew Doidge, executive director at ABS, said: “Following the recent merger of ABS and Sparta, this further strengthens our proposition with an additional range of specialist products.”

And Wayne Dunthorne, sales director at ABS, added: “Addept Insurance combines extensive product expertise and knowledge with a clear understanding of the needs of brokers for ancillary products that provide relevant protection to their clients.”

Launch

Addept Group was launched in May 2024 following its acquisition of broking business Policywise.

In its launch statement, the firm said it had acquired Policywise as part of plans to unveil new ancillary products and services that will be provided as part of, or alongside, established core insurance products.

Richard Finan, managing director at Addept Insurance, said: “ABS have built a strong reputation for customer service and innovation. We both share a commitment to providing brokers with the right tools to address the real gaps that exist in current ancillary insurance and providing innovative products that deliver fair value to their customers.

”I have always been impressed with the broker distribution reach ABS have established and the level of support that they have from their broker partners. This partnership will now enable ABS’s brokers to access our new suite of products.”
