Open GI’s chief sales officer resigns

David Kelly, chief sales officer at insurance software firm Open GI, has resigned after completing 13 years of service.

Kelly initially joined Open GI from Lloyd’s Banking Group in 2006, acting as the organisation’s distribution director; he moved into his current position in 2017.

Moving forwards, Nick Giddings, Open GI’s chief customer officer, will have responsibility for managing existing broker relationships, while Simon Macray, director of insurer relations, will continue to look after the firm’s insurer customer and partner relationships.

Macray will report to Simon Badley, group chief executive, on an interim basis.

Open GI provides insurance software to brokers, underwriting agencies, insurers and MGAs in the UK and Ireland. The business employs 550 staff across offices in Worcester, Dublin, London, Winchester, Milton Keynes, Skopje (Macedonia) and Krakow (Poland).
