The firm ’will differentiate itself from the market through a flexible, agile and responsive approach’, says chief executive
A new managing general agent (MGA) that will focus on the renewables sector has been launched.
Called Novagen, the MGA will focus on underwriting renewable technologies, including those in the onshore, offshore, construction and operational sectors.
It will be led by chief executive Valeria Del Villano, who was most recently head of international renewables at AIG.
During her career, Del Villano has also held underwriting roles at Novae and Gcube.
“Renewables is an area of huge opportunity for the insurance sector, with our solutions essential for the energy industry as it makes the transition,” Del Villano said.
“Novagen will differentiate itself from the market through a flexible, agile and responsive approach to underwriting.”
