Argenta Group has appointed of Paul Wilson as deputy chair at Argenta Syndicate Management (ASML) and non-executive director of Argenta Holdings.

Wilson brings over 35 years of experience in financial and professional services, including leadership roles at Bain and Company in London, where he led the financial services practice and contributed to the restructuring of the Lloyd’s market.

He has also served as a non-executive director for Axa XL UK, Axa XL Dublin, RJ Kiln, Brewin Dolphin and Unigestion.

His appointment comes ahead of John Whiter stepping down as chair at ASML on 1 July 2025, following 16 years of leadership.

When he steps down, Wilson is set to succeed him.
