’Her experience in transformation and delivering client solutions will be enormously valuable,’ says chief executive
MS Amlin has appointed Aviva veteran Jessie Burrows as its new chief financial officer, a statement released yesterday (19 September 2023) said.
Burrows will join the global Lloyd’s (re)insurer at the start of 2024 and take over from Phil Green, who will retire.
As part of the handover process, Burrows and Green will work alongside eachother throughout the first quarter of next year.
MS Amlin chief executive Andrew Carrier, who Burrows will report to, said she was joining at the “perfect time”.
”I’m delighted to confirm Jessie’s appointment as our incoming chief financial officer,” he said.
”Jessie will join MS Amlin at the perfect time, as we continue to implement our profitable growth agenda.”
Experience
Burrows, who will bring over 25 years of experience across the financial services sector to MS Amlin, was most recently managing director of customer sales, service and claims at Direct Line Group.
