’I’m looking forward to working with the executive team, board and shareholders in the next phase of growth,’ says new appointee
Motor insurtech Prima has appointed Compare the Market founder Matthew Donaldson as its new chairman.
A statement released yesterday (25 May 2023) said the move reflected the framework of the group’s new organisational model, aimed at supporting the company’s growth.
The Italian business launched in the UK in October 2022 and said it expected to replicate its “growth achieved in Italy across all chosen European territories”.
Donaldson said: “Prima has already enjoyed significant growth in customers across Europe, delivering outstanding customer propositions.
“I’m looking forward to working with the executive team, board and shareholders in the next phase of growth”.

This led to the formation of Compare the Market.

Donaldson added: “I’m very excited to have the opportunity to be part of one of the most innovative and nimble companies in the European insurtech sector.”
