’I am very much looking forward to working with him as he takes on the leadership of the organisation,’ says chair
The Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB) has appointed Angus Eaton as its new chief executive.
Eaton succeeds Dominic Claydon, whose departure was announced in January after six years in the role.
Eaton will take up the top boss position on 1 July, with Claydon staying on as a strategic advisor until the end of the year to help with the transition.
“The strong capabilities that Dominic and team have built will enable [the MIB] to continue to successfully deliver for everyone it serves going forward,” Eaton said.
“I am delighted and privileged to be joining the MIB as its new chief executive.
“I am excited about getting started and working closely with MIB colleagues, members, board and stakeholders to ensure that the MIB fulfils the valuable potential it offers.”
Experience
Eaton will take up the role after more than four years as group chief risk officer at Hastings Group.
