He comes with 25 years’ sector experience and will oversee the company’s global digital platform
International (re)insurance MGA Rokstone, part of Aventum Group, has appointed Gavin Dollings as its new chief digital underwriting officer.
In his new role, Dollings will lead Rokstone’s growing digital underwriting team, which forms part of Aventum’s multimillion pound investment into digital transformation.
The new hire will have strategic and operational oversight of all global business distributed through Rokstone’s digital platform.
Dollings joined Rokstone from Covéa Insurance, where he had worked as commercial underwriting director - he led the insurer’s commercial underwriting team for six years.
Prior to his tenure at Covéa, Dollings spent 10 years as Allianz’s head of UK casualty and construction before being promoted to south east regional manager.

Speaking on the appointment, Aventum’s chief digital distribution officer Tony Lawrence said: “We’re delighted to welcome Gavin on board. He is a highly capable and pragmatic chief underwriting officer with extensive experience from some of the biggest and most agile insurers.

Rokstone currently underwrites $750m (£574m) gross written premium in specialty lines, including aviation, marine, terrorism and political violence.
